Junk Removal FAQ: The Questions We Get on Every Call

CNC Junk Removal truck loaded and ready for a job

The same dozen questions come up on nearly every junk removal call we take in the Valley, from first-timers wondering how pricing actually works to repeat customers asking whether we can handle something unusual this time. This FAQ answers them directly, with real numbers instead of vague ranges.

We wrote this the way we'd actually explain it over the phone — no corporate hedging, no 'it depends' without an actual answer attached. If your question isn't answered here, it's a genuinely unusual one, and you should just call us at (480) 660-9395.

Upfront pricing, insured crews, and we do all the lifting. 5/5 from 140+ neighbors.

01. How does pricing actually work?

Single-item pickups — a couch, a mattress, a broken washer — start at a flat $149. Beyond a single item, we price by volume: how much of our 20-yard trailer your load fills, in roughly eighth-trailer increments, up to $1,299 for a completely full load.

You get the price before we start loading, not after. We walk the job, quote a flat number, and that's what you pay regardless of how long the load actually takes or how the crew has to maneuver to get it out. No hourly surprises, no fuel surcharges added at the end.

02. What can't you take?

Arizona and federal regulations restrict certain materials from standard hauling, and we won't take them regardless of how the load is priced:

  • Hazardous chemicals — paint, solvents, pesticides, pool chemicals
  • Motor oil and other automotive fluids
  • Propane tanks and pressurized cylinders
  • Asbestos-containing materials
  • Ammunition and firearms
  • Medical waste and biohazard materials

03. How fast can you get here?

Most Phoenix-metro addresses get same-day or next-day service if you call or text before noon. Response time depends on where you are in the Valley and how full that day's route already is — Mesa and Chandler jobs booked early in the morning have the best shot at same-day.

For urgent situations — a closing deadline, a move-out inspection tomorrow, a property manager needing a unit turned fast — tell us upfront. We prioritize time-sensitive jobs when we can and will tell you honestly if we can't make your window instead of overpromising.

04. Do I need to be present?

Not always. For driveway, garage, or alley pickups, a photo and clear access instructions are usually enough — we've done plenty of jobs where the customer is out of state managing an estate or rental remotely. For anything inside the home, we ask that an adult be present or reachable in case something needs a decision on the spot.

We send before-and-after photos on remote jobs so you can see the space cleared without being there for it.

05. What happens to the stuff you take?

Whenever the condition allows, furniture, appliances, and household goods get routed to Arizona donation centers — Goodwill, St. Vincent de Paul, and similar organizations — instead of the landfill. Metals and electronics go to certified recyclers, and mattresses are broken down through mattress-specific recycling where available.

What can't be donated or recycled goes to a licensed transfer station. We don't sort curbside and dump everything together — the routing decision happens before the truck leaves your property.

06. Are you actually insured?

Yes — we carry general liability coverage and can provide a certificate of insurance for property managers, HOAs, or commercial clients who need one on file before we start work. This matters more than people expect; an uninsured crew that damages a wall or driveway leaves you with the bill.

07. Do you handle recurring or commercial accounts?

Yes. Property managers, contractors, and HOAs with recurring cleanout needs can set up standing service instead of calling fresh each time. We'll work out a schedule and a quoting process that fits how often you actually need pickups, whether that's weekly during a renovation or monthly for a multi-unit property.

Key takeaways
  • Single-item pickups start at a flat $149 with no hourly billing.
  • Volume, priced by trailer fraction, is what actually determines cost beyond one item.
  • We can't legally haul hazardous chemicals, propane, asbestos, or medical waste.
  • Remote and out-of-state customers can book jobs by photo without being on-site.
  • Donation and recycling routing happens before the truck leaves, not after.
