About Phoenix

Junk hauling built around Phoenix

Phoenix is where CNC Junk Removal started — and it's still where we run the most trucks every day. From the 100-year-old Craftsman bungalows of Coronado and Willo to the hillside estates of Biltmore, Arcadia, and North Central, every corner of the city has its own quirks. Alley pickups in Encanto, gated drives in Desert Ridge, third-floor walk-ups near downtown, and acre-lot ranch teardowns in Laveen — we plan the truck, the dolly path, and the dump route around each address before we roll.

Because we're locally owned and based here, we move faster than national franchises. Most Phoenix requests booked before 2pm get same-day service, often within a 2-hour window. We pull permits when needed, respect HOA rules in master-planned communities like Ahwatukee and Desert Ridge, and donate or recycle as much of every load as we can through partners across Maricopa County — keeping reusable furniture, appliances, and building materials out of the landfill.

What Phoenix crews plan for

  • Many central Phoenix homes (Coronado, Willo, Encanto) use rear alley access — we bring shorter trucks for tight alleys.
  • Desert Ridge, Ahwatukee, and Tatum-area HOAs often require day-of-service windows; we'll coordinate before arrival.
  • We file the proper paperwork for City of Phoenix transfer stations and recycle e-waste through certified Maricopa County partners.

What affects price

Phoenix pricing factors

Volume

Priced by how much of our 20-cubic-yard trailer your load fills — single-item curbside is $99, then $249 for 1/8, $399 for 2/8, $699 for 4/8, all the way up to $1,299 full.

Heavy items

Pianos, safes, hot tubs, and large appliances add a flat specialty fee, never an hourly charge.

Access

Standard driveway pickup is included. Long carries (200+ ft) or multi-flight stairs may add a small fee — always quoted upfront.

Disposal type

Hazardous-adjacent items (fridges with refrigerant, tube TVs) carry the actual facility fee, no markup.

Phoenix local know-how

What's different about junk removal in Phoenix

How Phoenix bulk trash works, and where it runs out

Phoenix runs its own uncontained bulk collection on a rotating schedule by area rather than on request, so the single most useful thing you can do before calling anyone is look up your placement window by address on the city's site. If your window is close and your pile is ordinary household bulk, that is the cheapest route available and we will say so.

Where it stops working is the exclusions and the clock. Household hazardous waste — paint, solvents, pool chemicals, motor oil, automotive batteries, propane — is not part of bulk collection and needs the city's dedicated household hazardous waste program. Construction and demolition debris from a remodel is generally outside the program's scope, and dense material like concrete, dirt and rock is excluded on weight. Set-out timing matters too: material placed at the curb well ahead of your window can draw a code complaint, which is a real risk in a city this size.

The other limit is physical. Bulk collection requires you to get everything to the curb yourself. For an upstairs bedroom set, a packed garage in a 1950s Arcadia ranch, or an estate where nobody is physically able to carry things out, the labor is the service you are actually buying, and no municipal program provides it.

What Phoenix housing stock does to a cleanout

Phoenix spans more housing eras than anywhere else we work, and that drives almost everything about how a job runs. The historic districts — Coronado, Willo, Encanto — are 1920s to 1940s bungalows with narrow hallways, tight doorways and detached garages down a shared alley. Alley access is a genuine advantage there and we will use it when it exists, because it cuts the carry distance dramatically.

Arcadia and the Biltmore corridor are mid-century ranches on large lots, often with mature citrus and block walls, where the constraint is usually a narrow side gate rather than the house itself. North Central has deeper lots and longer driveways. The newer edges of the city behave like any master-planned suburb — wide driveways, easy truck access, HOA rules to work around.

That spread is why we quote on access rather than on square footage. A three-bedroom in Willo and a three-bedroom on the north edge can hold the same volume of junk and take very different amounts of crew time. Telling us the neighborhood and whether there is alley or side-gate access gets you an accurate number on the phone instead of a range.
