Furniture Removal in Phoenix
Old couch, new floor space.
Sectionals, sleeper sofas, dressers, dining sets, mattresses, box springs — we haul anything you can't (or don't want to) move yourself.
About our furniture removal service
Furniture removal in Phoenix is harder than it looks. Sectionals don't fit through the front door. Sleeper sofas weigh 250 lbs with a hidden steel frame. King mattresses don't bend down a staircase. CNC handles all of it — disassembly, padding, stair carries, and disposal — at one flat price.
Whether you're swapping out a single recliner or clearing a whole house before listing, our 2-person crews arrive with tools, dollies, blankets, and the muscle to move heavy pieces without scratching your baseboards or your back. If a piece is in good shape, we route it to Arizona donation partners and email you the receipt for tax purposes.
We see every kind of furniture across the Valley — mid-century pieces in Arcadia, oversized sectionals from Scottsdale model homes, RTA furniture from college apartments in Tempe, and patio sets baked through ten Phoenix summers. We've moved them all and we know how to get yours out fast.

We protect floors, disassemble large pieces, and carry everything out — basement to truck included.
- 4Responsible disposal
Donate-quality items go to charity. The rest is recycled or landfilled per Maricopa County rules.
What we take
- ●Sofas, loveseats, sectionals, sleeper sofas, recliners
- ●Beds: frames, headboards, box springs, mattresses (all sizes)
- ●Dressers, armoires, wardrobes, nightstands
- ●Dining tables, chairs, hutches, china cabinets
- ●Desks, office chairs, bookcases, filing cabinets
- ●Patio furniture, outdoor sectionals, umbrellas
What affects the price
Single piece flat rate starts at $99. Each additional piece scales down per unit.
Solid wood, oversized sectionals, and sleeper sofas with steel frames carry a small heavy-item adder.
Ground-floor curb pickup is cheapest. Second-floor walk-up or tight hallways add a flat stair/access fee.
Bed frames, sectionals, and bulky desks are broken down at no extra labor cost — tools included.
Arizona local know-how
- 🌵Phoenix bulk trash misses most furniture between quarterly pickups — schedule a haul instead of risking an HOA violation.
- 🌵Donation centers in the Valley (Goodwill, St. Vincent) reject stained, ripped, or smoke-exposed upholstery. We'll tell you upfront what's donate-eligible.
- 🌵Apartment communities in Tempe and Scottsdale often require COI before move-out hauls — we provide it free.
Why a sofa is the hardest thing in the house to recycle
Furniture is a composite, which is why it defeats most recycling. A single upholstered chair is a wood or engineered-wood frame, steel springs, polyurethane foam, polyester batting and a fabric cover, bonded with adhesive and staples. Separating those economically is not possible at consumer scale anywhere in the Phoenix metro.
What does recover: the steel in springs and mechanisms goes to scrap, and solid wood frames can sometimes be reclaimed. Sleeper sofas are better than most, because the fold-out mechanism is a substantial piece of steel. What does not recover is the foam and the mixed textile, which is most of the volume.
That is why donation matters more here than in any other category. A usable sofa going to a Valley charity avoids the problem entirely, and it is the single biggest environmental decision in a furniture job. Once a piece is torn, stained, water-damaged, smoke-affected or has any bed bug history, no charity will take it and the composite problem is unavoidable.
The measurement that decides the whole job
It is not the width of the piece. It is the diagonal depth, measured corner to corner across the end — the smallest profile the piece can be turned to. If that number clears the narrowest point of the exit path, it goes out on its side. If it does not, something comes apart.
Furniture frequently gets into a room before the room is finished. Flooring, baseboards, door casing, a storm door or a stair railing added afterwards each steal an inch or two, and an inch is the difference between a clean exit and a stuck sectional. Interior doors lift off their hinges in about two minutes and usually buy exactly that.
The pieces that cause real trouble are sleeper sofas, which are rigid and heavy and cannot be flexed around a turn, and sectionals in homes where the original modules were assembled in place. Both are solvable. Both take longer than the customer expects, which is why mentioning them at booking produces a more accurate quote than describing the job as one couch.
We treat your $80 IKEA dresser and your $4,000 leather sectional the same way: with care, padding, and zero damage to your home.
