Junk hauling built around Scottsdale
Scottsdale is our most logistically complex city — and one of our favorites. Guard-gated communities like DC Ranch, Silverleaf, Troon, and Desert Mountain require advance coordination, ID checks, and crews who know how to behave on a property. Old Town and downtown condos require shorter trucks and careful elevator timing. McCormick Ranch and Gainey Ranch sit in between with tight HOA standards.
We treat every Scottsdale job as if a designer is watching. Floor protectors, blanket-wrapped corners, no leaning ladders on freshly painted walls. Whether it's clearing a casita in Paradise Valley-adjacent zips or hauling a remodel's worth of demo out of a Silverleaf renovation, we leave the property cleaner than we found it.

Scottsdale pricing factors
Priced by how much of our 20-cubic-yard trailer your load fills — single-item curbside is $99, then $249 for 1/8, $399 for 2/8, $699 for 4/8, all the way up to $1,299 full.
Pianos, safes, hot tubs, and large appliances add a flat specialty fee, never an hourly charge.
Standard driveway pickup is included. Long carries (200+ ft) or multi-flight stairs may add a small fee — always quoted upfront.
Hazardous-adjacent items (fridges with refrigerant, tube TVs) carry the actual facility fee, no markup.
What's different about junk removal in Scottsdale
Scottsdale's scheduled bulk service and gated-community access
Scottsdale handles bulk collection differently from most of its neighbors, running scheduled rather than purely rotation-based service for residential bulk. Confirm the current arrangement and any limits for your address with the city — the structure means timing can sometimes be worked around more easily here than in cities running a fixed rotation.
The exclusions are the familiar ones: household hazardous waste, construction and demolition debris, and dense material by weight. What is less familiar is how much of Scottsdale's practical constraint comes from private communities rather than municipal rules.
In DC Ranch, Silverleaf, Troon, Grayhawk and Desert Mountain, the binding rules are the association's. Expect guard-gate procedures, approved-vendor requirements, restricted work hours, and in some communities a requirement that trucks stage inside rather than at the curb. None of it prevents a job, but all of it needs arranging before the day. A call to your HOA's management company as soon as you have a target date removes essentially every surprise.
What luxury-home cleanouts actually require
North Scottsdale work is as much about protecting the property as removing from it. Interior tile, hardwood, custom stonework and finished garage flooring are all easy to damage with a loaded dolly, so these jobs need floor protection, smaller equipment and more crew time than the same volume would take in a standard subdivision.
Lot geometry adds to it. Hillside properties around Troon and Desert Mountain frequently have steep driveways, terraced yards and long carries from the house to wherever a truck can legally and safely park. Those are real cost drivers and we would rather identify them in the quote than discover them on site.
The job mix skews toward high-value removals: estate downsizings, post-remodel debris, hot tub and spa teardowns, and full garage refreshes after seasonal residents return. Donation routing matters more here than almost anywhere else we work, because the furniture coming out is frequently in genuinely resaleable condition — which means a receipt for the household and a usable piece for somebody else, instead of a landfill fee. Old Town and McCormick Ranch behave differently again, with older condo and townhome stock where stairs, shared elevators and restricted loading areas drive the schedule.
Seasonal residents and the October reset
Scottsdale has a pronounced seasonal population, and it produces a reliable autumn surge. Homes closed through an Arizona summer come back online in October and November, and what owners find is predictable: failed refrigerators, perished upholstery foam, warped furniture, and anything with adhesive, rubber or batteries in it degraded past use.
That is a genuine cleanout nobody planned for, arriving in the same few weeks across thousands of properties. If you own a seasonal residence here, the practical move is to book before you fly in rather than after you open the door, because that window is the busiest of our year in north Scottsdale.
The same applies in reverse in spring. Departing residents clearing out before closing a house up are competing for the same crews as everyone else on the same schedule, so a week of lead time is worth more than it is at any other point in the calendar.
